How does Sacrena calculate compatibility?

Sacrena combines several systems:

• Spiritual Alignment: archetypes based on Carl Jung's archetypes, vision boards, and personal virtues.
• Vedic Astrology (Ashtakoota): scored out of 36 across eight traditional kutas, Varna, Vashya, Tara, Yoni, Graha Maitri, Gana, Bhakoot, and Nadi, with the Moon and its Nakshatra carrying the most weight for emotional and karmic bonds. A score above 18 suggests strong alignment. 🟠 marks an affliction, a challenge worth naming.
• Western Astrology (Synastry): planetary aspects across themes including identity, emotions, social, expression, love, passion, vision, and commitment.
• Human Design: how your energy flows, connects, and communicates with another person.
• Numerology: your life direction, gifts, and cycles of growth.
• Behavioral Compatibility: patterns from how you actually think, communicate, and show up, drawn from your virtues and journal responses.

Why are my Sun, Moon, and Rising signs different in Sacrena?

Sacrena uses both Vedic (Sidereal) astrology, which reflects the sky as it actually is today, and Western (Tropical) astrology, which uses a fixed zodiac set nearly 2,000 years ago. Because of a roughly 24° shift called precession, your Vedic placements often land one sign earlier. Many people find that shift resonates more with how they actually feel. You can switch between the Vedic and Western tabs anytime to see both.

How do I build my profile?

Your profile is built from your photos, archetypes, virtues, journal reflections, and vision board. It gives a match a real sense of who you are before you've said a word to each other.

You'll also need your date, time, and place of birth. Vedic and Western compatibility both depend on all three to be accurate.

What if I don't know my exact time of birth?

We default to noon and mark your reading as approximate. Time-sensitive pieces like your Rising sign may be slightly less precise, but the rest of your reading stays accurate.

How does matching work?

As you browse, you see a compatibility read for each potential match, drawn from the systems above. You decide who to like, pass, or start a conversation with. The difference from a typical dating app isn't the mechanic, it's the context you have going in.

Can I revisit a profile I passed on?

Yes, with Premium. Free accounts move forward only. Premium lets you go back and revisit profiles you passed on.

Is Sacrena free?

Yes. Core features are free. Premium adds:

• Revisit passed profiles

• Set custom city or location
• Deepen search preferences
• See when they were last active

How is my data handled?

Sacrena never sells your data. Your information stays private by default and is only used to generate your readings. You can delete your account anytime in Core → Settings → Terminate account, at the bottom. Termination is permanent and can't be undone.
